Day 3

And Adam woke and Adam saw
a thing which did awake his awe.
Because, in this small forest he
found rest he saw small streams came free.
He thought, indeed that thing is strange,
for God to him left to arrange.

**

It was a lovely, sunny day,
a day inviting to be gay.
The beings all around him laid
who yesterday were funny made,
and birds were singing, birds went by
as they the lot amuse did try.

**

In Adams mind the thought was done
that was what made perhaps was gone.
So he said loud what he had learned.
And it was present, out it turned!
Rejoicing, with a merry mind,
the campus Adam left behind.

**

And soon the big stream they stood by.
And Adam knew the reason why.
He said, “See light.” And that was clear,
and they all laughed to Adam dear.

**

Into the forest Adam went.
There was a pond, now heaven sent.
And Adam pointed southwards, where
the ocean mighty did appear.
And he said “ocean”, he said “pond”,
as if he thought they would respond.
And with his foot he kicked the ground,
and soil was splattered all around.
And he said “land”. He pointed at
the pond. And he said “water – that”.

**

Like that it happened. By that pond
did land and water make the bond.
The consciousness is not felt.
That was all clear by Adam spelt.

**

And Adam almost did depart
from earth growing upon that start.
The growth was what he now adressed,
as natures three by heaven blessed.
And these are grass and bush and tree,
as corn and herb and fruit-tree, see,
when they give offspring, they give life.
He saw the nature of the wife.
He grasped the natures of the three.
And wiser he was let to be
when he saw, it will never die,
the natures seed is given by!

**

And those who with him happy went,
they smiled to what was to them sent,
since what was learned exiting was
and Adam was no silly boss.

**

When finally again they walked
the beach, as two the being talked.
As earth and water now become
the being rose to being some.
The water also was as two.
As happiness and sorrow true
to the idea the water is,
in fact exemplifying this.

**

And night appeared, and day took place.
And by The Lord it was to face.
