Now, once upon a time there lived
a man who in to be believed.
Existing in the east, somewhere,
where rivers two were very near,
no plans, though, there were in his head.
No language made, he smiled instead.
**
He walked around and ate the green
abundantly there to be seen.
He looked on it and he was near
the growth and he was very clear.
**
When human beings something see,
there will be those who heyday free.
**
He could make tools. That was perceived.
With stone and bone he more achieved.
And fire was a funny thing.
By it could Adam comfort bring.
But cultivating he could not
since Adam had no language got.
He smiled when he saw growth take place.
But he could not appearance trace.
**
But Adam, fine, was almost lit.
In growth he saw himself, a bit.
He studied it, the grass, the bush,
and saw in everything a push.
But stating it he could not do.
There were no words to help him to.
So he got wise as only one
can be who is just rarely done.
**
And where he lived, there was a great
and mighty stream, a lovely gate.
And close to it another one.
That river too was nicely done.
But Adam did not know how it
did end, this thing which grew a bit.
**
So Adam followed it, the stream.
It was fantastic, like a dream,
and Adam wondered anxiously
on where it ended, finally.
The stream he followed over land
until he stood on one great strand.
And what he saw was marvellous.
The ocean was just fabulous.
And Adam by that sight got clear
from any complicated fear.
**
A surface great, and nothing rough.
He saw, and could not see enough.
The heaven and the ocean was
as one. His vision could not pause.
**
Then God looked down on Adam and
decided to give him a hand.
**
And Adam looked up in the sky
and saw a heaven passing by.
He pointed up, and stated worth.
He stated “heaven”, and then “earth”.
**
It was a wonder. Words had just
been uttered. Adam felt he must.
And everyone there on the beach
were laughing, urging him to teach.
**
By that the ocean was arranged,
from which no more they were estranged.
Because, not only it was seen.
The Word did make it lovely keen
on something that was first of all
and therefore greatest, by it's fall.
**
And Adam had to say a word.
“See light” was what he let be heard.
**
And so created was The Lord.
For always he will life afford.
Christ Jesus is whatever is.
And now, to Adam, showing this.
**
A day went by in this new worth.
One mentioned “heaven”, mentioned “earth”.
One took a bath, digested fruit.
And heaven great did pleasure suit.
**
The human being took a stand.
One fell to sleep on that warm strand
with heaven surely pressing on
and Adam as a leader done.
**
And night appeared, and day took place.
And by The Lord it was to face.
